SUMMARY: The IT Procurement Administrator is responsible for procuring hardware, software, and services for the Information Technology Department. The incumbent will also be responsible for issuance of purchase orders, tracking open orders for timely delivery of goods, managing renewals and logistics of equipment delivery and receiving. The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the key business stakeholders on purchases and renewals to deliver cost savings, quality of service and value.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Collaborate and build partnerships with key stakeholders to understand and deliver on requirements for information technology procurement requests.
Support the Asset and Contract teams in the renewal process for subscriptions, support and software maintenance.
Develop and manage the request for quotation process. This includes organizing, coordinating, and leading the solicitation events.
Develop and manage Purchase Orders. This includes review for general ledger coding, pricing and information accuracy, as well as following each order to ensure all items are received.
Maintain records and databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties and service agreements for hardware and software purchases.
Ability to understand and interpret end user license agreements, statements of work, and master service agreements to ensure compliance with agreements.
Facilitate cost savings tracking, vendor reviews, analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
Develop and maintain effective and positive relationships with vendors based on quality, cost, delivery and responsiveness.
Responsible for administrative duties within the information technology procurement and inventory management function.
Serve as backup to the Mobile IT Asset and Procurement Coordinator.
Other work-related duties as assigned by supervisor/manager.
Reliable and regular attendance is expected.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Two-year degree and two years of experience in an information technology procurement environment or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to set priorities and work on multiple tasks.
Working knowledge of Information Technology, IT sourcing, contracting, procurement and accounting procedures for booking assets.
Experience with IT technology procurement through channel partners and other sources.
Experience with Service Now or similar platform is a plus.
