JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a dairy located in New York who is searching for an experienced Youngstock Manager / Assistant Herd Manager for their operation. This position is responsible for monitoring the calving pen, newborn calf care, feeding all calves on milk, vaccinating, dehorning, and transitioning calves to group housing through 6 months of age. The candidate will assist the herd manager with overall herd health for all animals and manage and coordinate with other employees and owners to ensure proper care of all youngstock.
