QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- 5+ years of Sales Management experience. Preference given to those with a ranch and/or sales background
- Ability to speak effectively one-on-one and within a group, or in front of a meeting promoting your product
- College Bachelor of Science Degree based in Agriculture is preferred
- Ability to use applications such as Microsoft Office and internet functions
- Ability to analyze and interpret internal reports

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting this Nebraska employer seeking an experienced Senior Sales Manager for outside sales in the ranching industry of technology company that can save money for the rancher in a cow/calf or yearling grazing operation. Extensive balance of travel and phone work is needed. One needs to be personable, knowledgeable, organized and have the ability to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction, continue growing profitable sales expansion directly working with our ranchers across the Midwest. One will need to exercise disciplined expense control, working inside a sales department budget, and be integrated and effectively engaging with all support and department personnel. This individual is a member of the management team. Develops and maintains effective sales department processes to ensure internal and external customer satisfaction as they continue to grow. Develop and execute our sales department marketing plan and review and track progress monthly to ensure achievement of departmental goals. Takes the lead in sharing best practices and implementing common process throughout the sales department. Have some flexibility on where you would be located and work out of as a central hub. If you have extensive background in sales with ranch equipment, and in general working with ranchers, we would like to talk to you.
