Position Overview

A progressive international agriculture company is seeking a highly experienced Senior Agronomist to support and enhance production systems in a key growth region of Peru. This individual will play a critical role in advancing crop performance, supporting grower success, and contributing to ongoing agronomic innovation.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide advanced agronomic support to growers to optimize yield, quality, and overall production efficiency
- Evaluate field performance and identify opportunities for improvement across diverse production environments
- Lead and support applied agronomic research and on-farm trials
- Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to implement best practices
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights to improve crop outcomes
- Serve as a technical resource and mentor for less experienced team members
- Support strategic initiatives tied to regional growth and production success

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy or related field (Master's preferred)
- Strong background in crop production systems and field-based agronomy
- Proven ability to work independently and make data-driven decisions
- Experience working with specialty crops or permanent crops preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work across cultures and teams
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the region
