- Some Overnight travel to Trader Shows and vendor training sessions as needed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Ag Business in search for a Sales Representative for there Ohio, Michigan and Indiana territory. The Sales Position will be responsible for Inside and Outside Sales as needed, focusing on Dairy Equipment, Freestall and Ventilation, Feed Mixers and Manure Equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Gain knowledge of companies products and call upon Dairy customers in Michigan, Ohio and Indiana, focus on growing Michigan and Northern Indiana market
- Service existing accounts, obtain orders, and establish new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedules to call on existing or potential customers.
- Assist with on-line marketing of dairy equipment via on-line advertising channels
- Analyze the territory/market’s potential, track sales and status report
- Create direct mail and marketing campaigns for dairy markets
- Comprehend customer requirements and make appropriate recommendations/briefings
- Attend annual trade shows and vendor meetings
- Listen to the concerns of a customer and be able to address their needs
- Establish, develop and maintain positive business and customer relationships
- Keep up to date of best practices and agricultural trends
- Continue to gain understanding of companies product offering with long term goal of extending selling capabilities
