JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Row Crop Manager for this Iowa row crop operation. This role involves strong involvement in daily operations. The ability to be successful in a team-centered, supportive work environment is a must. Need person with a solid row crop production background, who's experienced running all equipment associated in the production of corn and beans. Person needs a passion for agriculture. Need to be a team player and able to direct a crew, have good communications skills, and able to assist in all areas of the operation when needed. Need a person who is a self-starter, capable of thinking on their own and able to see the big picture. Really basic maintenance and general repair skills. Wanting to hire individual to farm and handle all the daily field operations. Salary will depend on experience/background towards this position.

- Act as a point of contact for team member questions regarding projects or daily tasks
- Assign key tasks and projects that need completed and communicate with their team leader
- Understand equipment, fields, and logistic constraints to maximize equipment and people utilization
- Manager will coordinate priority list of work to be completed
- Focus on daily continuous improvement
- Be able to problem solve on front line issues involving equipment maintenance, coordination of repairs, farm logistics
- Verification of all operational activities. Row Crop Manager will continue to develop and monitoring SOPs on key processes
- Oversee maintenance and operation of all bin sites
- Oversee the training of employees on operation of both agricultural machinery and shop processes
