- Experienced hands-on maintenance mechanic
- Will NOT require major engine overhaul
- Routine maintenance and general repairs
- Experience diagnosing and repairing diesel and gas engines
- Ag equipment, heavy equipment, and small engine background
- Responsible for ordering parts and maintaining, inventory of parts and supplies
- Welding & Fabrication are a plus
- Ability to supervise 1-2 employees
- Able to work in family environment

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Ranch Maintenance employee who will be the owner’s Right-Hand Man for this North Dakota Ranch. Person needs experience diagnosing and repairing engines, though will not be performing any major work as that will go to town. Will need a good maintenance background to take care of routine maintenance and general repair but if person is capable, there will be more opportunity to do major work in-house. Preventative maintenance will be key. The person will be working on tractors, feed wagons, balers, pickups, ATVs, heavy equipment and small engines. Repairs of brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, welding and fabrication experience needed. Will be responsible for ordering parts and maintaining inventory of parts and supplies. Update paperwork in vehicles including registration papers, permits tabs, and fuel stickers. Maintain a clean environment. Also, this person needs to be willing to assist with some calving, feeding, running feed-wagon, etc. We’re looking for someone with strong leadership skills who can effectively supervise 1–2 team members. The ideal candidate will have the ability to see the big picture, anticipate needs before they arise, and take initiative to get things done without waiting for direction. A self-starter with a proactive mindset is essential. Need person who enjoys ranch life and who comes with a good attitude. This is an operation that takes pride in what they have and what they do.
