- Feeding and feeding equipment experience needed
- Be hardworking and have a good attitude
- As far as Cattle Feeding goes, prefer good animal health skills, rations, reading bunks, keeping on schedule a must
- Good farm equipment operating skills for support position in row crop, small grains, and silage
- Good decision maker, communicator, team player, and good record keeper is essential. Experience working with performance analytics would be a plus
- College degree is a plus, but experience with a solid & verified work history is better

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Cattle Manager for this Nebraska producer. Prefer experience in cattle feeding. Duties include feeding, walking the yard, pulling sick cattle, sorting cattle, vaccinating and yard maintenance, both in pens and out on grass. Additional duties may include manure hauling, and silage chopping and packing. Experience with a self-propelled chopper is a plus. A person must be dependable, have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter and willing to assist in all areas of the operation. Good equipment operation skills would be a plus as this person will be used as more of a support role in farming when daily livestock chores are completed. Ideally, the employer needs someone who has experience to bring some leadership, knowledge and upper skill set with them to this position. Salary will be dependent on experience, references, and stability. Great location for a spouse to find work, good schools, and a great community to raise a family.
