QUALIFICATIONS:

- Posses or able to acquire a Missouri driver's license is required
- Know cows and calves, herd health, nutrition, etc.
- Implementing grazing plans and practicing rotational grazing
- Open to new ideas and non-traditional techniques of ranch management
- Self-motivated, self-starter, above average communication skills with an eagerness to learn
- Forward thinking, able to see the big picture while paying attention to detail and using common sense
- Low stress livestock handling experience and willingness to also work with sheep
- Applying safe, common sense practices around farm/ranch operation
- CO/Mig welding and fabricating skills would be a big plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a solid individual for this Missouri Cow/Calf operation. Need to find a person who is a self-starter, who can see the big picture, and is forward thinking. Good operation that can provide a long-term opportunity. Need this person to perform general maintenance of feedlot, pasture, fence, buildings, equipment, and assist with work tending sheep, ewes and lambs that are also used in rotational grazing operation for pasture quality. Need experience operating equipment for feeding and hay production. Requires the ability to work in all types of weather, ability to lift up to 75 pounds on a frequent bases, prolonged walking, standing, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling and reaching on a daily basis. Must have full range of motion in order to operate manual, electrical, diesel or gasoline powered farm machinery, tools and equipment. Be able to perform in high working conditions (roof repair, etc.). Nice location to raise a family with good schools, and for spouse to find work also.
