QUALIFICATIONS:

- 1-2 years of administrative office experience preferred working with payroll and/or familiar with farm inventories and expense would be a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and general computer knowledge
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong initiative, accountability, and supervisory skills, independence, time management are needed
- Analyzing farm data and working with farm programs would be a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Part Time Office Assistant/Admin responsible for daily & weekly office management for 24+ hours per week, on site in the office for annual data collection, farm program and records for a farming operation unit in California. A successful candidate will have proven analytical skills, use creative thinking in decision-making and problem-solving and have the ability to analyze and correct before information is sent to home office. Hours are somewhat flexible with possible to work around children school hours, or possibly 3 days per week with guaranteed 24 hours with possible 30 hours per week. With the right skills that one may have with farm equipment operation, irrigation, and/or mechanical skills, this also could be a full-time position with complete benefits package. Great position for someone that is dependable, trustworthy, and somewhat analytical in making sure everything is in order before submitting to home office and will need to be familiar with agricultural lifestyle.
