QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check before hiring.
- Being able to work in a smoke free environment.
- Being able to adapt to regional multi-cultural environment.
- Other languages helpful, particularly Spanish a second language.
- Must Live in the assigned territory
- At least 40+ words per minute typing skills.
- General knowledge of a computer and laptop.
- Operational Knowledge of Windows operating system etc.
- Operational Knowledge of Word newest versions.
- Operational Knowledge of Power Point.
- Working knowledge of Access / Excel.
- Working knowledge of Outlook email program.

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an Ag Business in search for an Outside Sales position. The Outside Sales person will coordinate orders, work up quotes for customers.

Responsibilities:

RECEIVE INBOUND PHONE CALLS / FAXES/ E MAILS FROM CUSTOMERS:

- Customers placing orders.
- Customers returning goods.
- Customers requesting warranty considerations.
- Customers checking on shipments and delivery of existing orders.
- Quotation requests.
- Customer complaints.
- Most of these are handled by our Inside Sales Coordinator

COORDINATE ORDERS

- Order entry of customer placed orders into computer system.
- Reviewing customer computer files of previously placed orders to validate new orders.
- Checking of Proforma and / or Quotation to validate pricing on new orders.
- Validate specifications of orders to our manufacturing requirements.
- Validation of payment requirements before order entry. Open Account, Letter of Credit, COD, Wire Transfer, Etc. This involves checking the computer or following the new account procedure.
- Most of these are handled by our Inside Sales Coordinator.

RETURN GOODS AUTHORIZATIONS (RGA)

- Writes return goods authorization for returning product from the customer.
- This may include: Warranty items, incorrect shipments, or returns for credit.
- Most of these are handled by our Inside Sales.

WARRANTY OF PRODUCTS

- Inside Sales Coordinator is normally the initial contact for warranty consideration. This may result from an inquiry or complaint from the field.
- Write Return Good Authorization (RGA)
- Direct Warranty consideration to engineering department for analysis.
- Warranty analysis will be directed back to sales for a new or rework order.
- Most of these are handled by our Inside Sales Coordinator.

QUOTATIONS

- Gather information and specifications from prospective customers to write a quotation.
- Gather information and pricing necessary to facilitate a proper and accurate quotation.
- Coordinate with area Territory Representatives with pricing considerations.
