QUALIFICATIONS:

- Able to do all day-to-day maintenance and repairs and keep records
- Maintain inventory of parts and shop supplies
- Experience with all types of trucks & Ag equipment
- Welding and fabrication experience is a plus
- Experience with all types of truck mechanics, silage equipment, and manure pumping systems is a bonus
- Solid work ethic, good communication skills, honesty and integrity, record keeping skills and work as a team player

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a solid Farm Mechanic/Maintenance person for a central New York custom silage cutting & manure application company. They continue to expand crop acreage this coming season and a key employee to be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the equipment. Must be able to plan how things will come through the shop in the off season. Direct other employees that will help in the shop during slow times, and be willing to maintain equipment and shop to the standard that the owner wants. Seeking an individual who has good all-around mechanical ability. Wages will be dependent upon the experience that one brings to the table. Hours are flexible. If you'd want to work 3am to noon, or evenings, we would be willing to accommodate your schedule. Guaranteed 40 @ 5 days per week. The location is close enough to a population center for spouse to find work, but out of the city for good atmosphere and school systems in raising a family.
