JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a well-established medium-sized dairy farm located in Hawaii who is seeking an experienced, hands-on Herdsman/Herd Manager to join their team. This key position will oversee a team of 7-8 employees and collaborate closely with a Nutritionist/Consultant. Primary responsibilities include managing milking procedures and ensuring milk quality, co-managing AI breeding each morning, and overseeing herd health by diagnosing and treating sick cows. The role also includes responsibilities for calf raising and care. Additionally, there is limited involvement in crop management, focusing primarily on silage production. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for dairy farming.
