- Proven experience in Employee Management
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Expertise in Herd Health management
- In-depth knowledge of feed and nutrition
- Proficient in computer skills
- Experience in inventory and supply management
- Strong background in equipment operation and maintenance
- AI breeding experience is a plus
- Bilingual in Spanish and English

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking an experienced, hands-on Herd Manager for a growing midsized dairy farm in Ohio. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the dairy operation, including employee management, herd health, feeding, breeding, and equipment operation. This is a key position that will involve direct hands-on work with both dairy cattle and calves, including health care and breeding responsibilities. The ideal candidate will be bilingual in English and Spanish, with a strong ability to communicate effectively with both employees and management.

As the dairy operation continues to expand, there is potential for the position to evolve into a more General Management role, with less direct involvement in daily operations over time
