SUMMARY:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced industry leader to oversee and grow a Fleet Repair & Maintenance Division servicing gas vehicles, medium-duty trucks, and Class 8 semis. This role manages a team of ~15 technicians and carries full operational and financial responsibility. This is a leadership and P&L-driven role—not a wrench-turning position.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead daily shop operations including workflow, scheduling, and efficiency
  • Drive labor performance, billed hours, and reduce comebacks
  • Oversee diagnostics, repair quality, and preventative maintenance programs
  • Manage full P&L including labor/parts margins, overhead, and pricing strategy
  • Develop and grow commercial fleet accounts and service agreements
  • Recruit, mentor, and lead technicians while building a strong team culture
  • Ensure safe, compliant, and organized shop operations


QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 15+ years in diesel, heavy-duty, or fleet repair operations
  • Proven leadership of multi-technician teams
  • Strong financial acumen with P&L management experience
  • Deep understanding of shop KPIs and efficiency metrics
  • Technical knowledge of diesel systems, ECM/emissions, electrical, and hydraulics
  • Strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills
