QUALIFICATIONS:


- 12+ years of relevant experience required to qualify with experience in cattle order buying and backgrounding a must
- Backgrounding with experience in cattle procurement, animal health, evaluation of quality of cattle, and management of people is required
- Logistics of moving cattle is a must
- Proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
- Ability to balance multiple projects at one time, the ability in maintaining flex and the ability to delegate, schedule, and prioritize workloads in rapid changing environment
- Strong communication skills, people relation skills and organizational skills in working as both a team with our employees, transportation contractors, and with our customers, both internal and external

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri PLACEMENT is assisting a Cattle Company that is looking to expand cattle operations its company operations. Looking for experienced individual to work with experienced buyers covering several live auctions across Texas and adjacent areas on a daily basis. Oversee up to another 15 employees on site to oversee receiving, processing, and shipping cattle. Individual needs to be current and knowledgeable on BQA standards, current and variety of animal health vaccination procedures. Position is always rapidly changing, and at times can be a stressful environment. One needs to have good multitasking skills while keeping organized. Good benefits package provided for employee while insurance is available to the family. E.O.E and wages will be dependent upon overall experience, stability, and references. Employer would take a look at higher wages if you can justify them through current experience and skills. Great location in smaller community to raise family, yet close enough to larger population for spouse/family to also find work, with access also to entertainment and sporting events.
