JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a manufacturing operation in Nebraska who are searching for a Field Service Technician. This position responsibilities include working as a member of a two or three-person crew in general construction of the system that may include trenching and backfilling; installing electrical conduit; low-voltage wiring; setting machinery with a crane truck and assembly of machinery parts. Installation usually requires travel and overnight stays of one to three days. Service duties technician to independently trouble-shoot and repair electrical, hydraulic and mechanical systems, and perform preventative maintenance such as adjustments, cleaning, lubrication, oil changes and replacing hydraulic hoses and chain drives. Service calls require travel and may include an overnight stay. Seeking someone with leadership traits that include include honesty, trustworthiness, pride in doing quality work, able to work as a team member, receive guidance from team members, offer suggestions to solve problems, and present a positive attitude to customers and team members. Skills and abilities needed are general construction, mechanical skills, the ability to stand and work on equipment in the shop and in the field, low-voltage wiring skills, strong work ethic and the ability to make decisions. Must perform work in a safe and workmanlike manner and in conformance with company policies and procedures. Able to climb and work from a ladder, drive a commercial truck (does not require a CDL license), operate a forklift, truck crane, operate and work from a bucket truck, use hand and power tools, differentiate colors, and occasionally lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
