QUALIFICATIONS:

- Clean CDL record with 1 years driving experience preferred, or will assist you to get CDL if you have clean driving record
- All farm or agriculture background experience is a plus and would be considered
- Good mechanical and maintenance skills are needed and any additional skills of welding, fabrication, carpentry or electrical would be a bonus
- Experience with truck maintenance from brakes, tires, u-joints, and general motor maintenance from oil, coolant, and belts is a bonus
- Must be a conscientious and courteous driver
- Excellent communication skills, honest, dependable, is a must
- Responsible for inventory and record keeping is needed
- Willing to train highly competent young people with good mechanical skills or agriculture aptitude

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-Placement is looking for a Shop Operations / Equipment Operator on a farming operation in Texas. This farming operation is a good employer that can adapt to your skill set whether it is working on maintenance in the shop or running equipment out in the field. Bonus if you have diverse skills, willing to learn, and able to jump in where needed the most. Farm has nicer than average trucks and trades equipment frequently. The trucking is all local, making deliveries of feedstock to dairies in a 90-mile radius of home, so person will be home every night. Field operations are even closer. They grow wheat, corn and cotton with much of the corn acres put up in silage for forage to dairies in the area.
