QUALIFICATIONS:

- 5+ years of current farm and ranch experience is a must
- Working majority of dry land wheat and proso millet, row crop experience is a plus
- 3 years of experience driving a semi, good DMV record is a plus; CDL is a plus
- Solid cow/calf experience working with a commercial herd
- Strong communication skills, work ethic, and good attitude is a must
- Ability to work independent as well as know the value of teamwork
- Mechanically inclined with some welding skills, strong maintenance skills are a plus
- Mend fence when needed

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is looking for Farm/Ranch Assistant for a diverse farming and cattle operation in Nebraska. Looking for someone with good communications skills to join the owner and work as a team. 5+ years of experience working with cattle and farming, which at this time is primarily wheat and proso millet but may vary depending on the year. Willing to look at the right person who has strong cattle skills, experience putting up hay, and is willing to learn, assist and advance in additional farm skills in all areas. Great location to raise a family! Located on a bus route just a short jaunt to a town with great school system. Salary will be determined by experience, stability, skill set and references.
