QUALIFICATIONS:

 

- Experience in crop production strongly preferred
- Proven ability to operate farm equipment efficiently and safely
- Tractor-trailer driving experience required; CDL preferred, or must be willing and able to obtain
- Mechanical aptitude for maintenance and repairs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to pitch in where needed
- Ability to communicate well and work as part of a team
- Candidates with general farm experience and a desire to grow in crop production are encouraged to apply

 

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

 

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is actively searching for a qualified and motivated Crop Production Assistant for a well-established and progressive farming operation in Nebraska. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for someone with a solid farm background and a strong interest in production agriculture.

Responsibilities:
-
Operate and maintain a wide range of modern farm equipment used in planting, cultivating, and harvesting row crops
- Perform routine preventative maintenance and light repairs on machinery and implements
- Haul grain and equipment using tractor-trailer combinations
- Assist with seasonal and daily crop production activities
- Work closely with a team to ensure timely and efficient field operations
- Flex work hours as needed during peak seasons such as planting and harvest
- Maintain a strong focus on safety and care of equipment
