QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good mechanical experience with diesel, gas and natural gas motors
- Able to do all day-to-day maintenance and repairs, anything major goes to town
- Experience with small engines, ag equipment and heavy equipment preferred
- Willing to operate farm equipment when needed
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred
- Experience ordering and maintaining inventory of parts

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Farm Mechanic for a large progressive Nebraska crop producer. Searching for a good hands-on farm mechanic to do the day-to-day maintenance and repairs of pickups, tractors, combines, sprayers, semi's etc. Farm has very nice facilities and shop. Need a dedicated mechanic who is experienced in diesel and gas engine repair. Ideally, someone experienced with small engines up to large Ag equipment and heavy equipment. Brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, welding and fabrication experience is required. Person in this position will be responsible for ordering parts and maintaining the inventory of parts and must be able to plan how equipment will come through the shop in season and off season. Searching for a candidate familiar with reading service manuals, parts manuals and who has just good all-around mechanical aptitude. When position allows, person needs to be willing to assist on the farm. Nice rural living and great place to raise a family. Just 3.5 hours to the Colorado Front Range.
