QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good equipment operator with routine maintenance and general repairs experience
- Strong communication skills working as a team player with a desire to help in all areas of the feedlot
- Experience with feedlot equipment; tractors, loaders, scrapers, etc.
- Need to be dependable and willing to advance in terms of responsibility. The employer is willing to do some training for person who's hard working and has the right attitude to learn
- Valid driver's license with a good driving record to be insurable

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Diesel Mechanic for this Farm and Livestock operation in Kansas. Need Mechanic who is neat appearance with the desire to not only “show up” but be a productive member of the team. In search of qualified candidates that have experience and understanding of Ag and Heavy equipment. The duties of this position will vary with the season, so it is important that this person has the ability to adapt and carry a good attitude along the way as they will be expected to handle multiple demands in the shop. This person needs to take pride in their work and be self-motivated with a passion job well done. Must be able to take direction from owner, have good problem-solving skills and the initiative to find a solution when the need arises. Pay will depend on the experience of the candidate. As stated above, this is a diversified operation searching for long-term employee who wants to grow with the company and in responsibility.

• Diagnose more complicated repair work
• Performs preventative maintenance and repairs on equipment
• Performs welding and fabrication
• Diagnose and repair Electrical, Hydraulic, HVAC, Braking, Engine, Powertrain etc. systems
• Use diesel laptops to perform diagnoses and repairs
• Order parts when needed
• Maintain shop organization and cleanliness
