QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good experience operating heavy equipment (Caterpillar D5 Dozer and Caterpillar 320 Excavator)
- Good experience operating equipment used for Planting through Harvest (Mainly Late Model JD)
- 5+ years of current or recent experience in row crop production working with larger equipment
- Plant through harvest experience preferred
- Run Self-Propelled Sprayer
- Prefer some agronomy skills
- Good crop production background
- Handle routine maintenance & general repairs
- Arc welding & fabrication skills a plus
- Must have a clean/good driving record
- Looking for individual that is motivated, long-term and career-minded with a passion for agriculture
- Must be able to work independently and be trustworthy and responsible
- Good attitude and dependable
- Excellent commutation skills and ability to work as a team player in a safe and productive manner
- Must be a self-starter, easy going and able to get along with others

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Good Farm Equipment Operator/Heavy Equipment Operator for this Missouri crop producer. This is a larger crop production operation, and the primary responsibilities of the farm equipment operator are the operation of equipment used in planting thru harvesting of crops. The duties of the position vary with the seasons and the needs of the operation, so it is important this individual is willing to adapt to changing circumstances, is flexible and has a good attitude. Need someone who takes pride in what they do and who is a self-motivated individual with a strong agriculture background and solid character. During the off-season candidate will run heavy equipment, Excavator and Dozer for dirt work on the farm and surrounding area, trucking, and other shop work. Farm runs late model John Deere and has excellent facilities. Person needs to be responsible when it comes to equipment maintenance and equipment operations. Must be trustworthy, reliable, able to keep on schedule and complete assigned tasks. Position requires strong communication with others, as well as the owner. To have and maintain a CDL to haul grain from the bins to market during the winter months is a big plus. Ability to understand, keep records, and use precision farming practices grows every year, so willingness to keep up with new methods and change is a plus. Someone who has experience operating heavy equipment would be a real plus.
