Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a qualified Farm Assistant / Sprayer Operator for a progressive crop production operation in Missouri. This opportunity is ideal for a person with a strong production agriculture background who enjoys operating modern equipment, takes pride in their work, and wants to be part of a long-term farming operation.

The primary focus of this position will be operating and managing the farm's self-propelled sprayer, including chemical application, sprayer setup, calibration, routine maintenance, and assisting with overall crop protection programs. During planting, harvest, and other seasonal periods, this individual will also assist in all other areas of the farming operation.

The farm raises corn, wheat, soybeans, alfalfa, and other row crops utilizing modern equipment and production practices. Responsibilities will vary throughout the year and may include planting, harvesting, grain hauling, tillage, equipment maintenance and repair, grain handling, and general farm support duties.

The employer is searching for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual with good equipment operating skills and the ability to work independently while also functioning well as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and desire to grow long-term with the operation as responsibilities increase over time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Current or recent row crop production experience preferred
• Experience operating self-propelled sprayers strongly preferred
• Planting through harvest experience beneficial
• Mechanical aptitude with ability to handle routine maintenance and general repairs
• Welding and fabrication skills a plus
• Experience hauling grain and operating tractor/trailer helpful
• CDL preferred but not required
• Knowledge of grain handling, drying, and storage beneficial
• Ability to operate modern farm equipment and precision ag technology
• Self-motivated, trustworthy, and dependable
• Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
• Must be flexible and willing to assist in all areas of the farming operation
