QUALIFICATIONS:

- Passion and ambition to live the farm life style with a willingness to learn while working with cow/calf and irrigation row crop diversity

- Routine maintenance and general repairs is a plus
 

- Team player with strong communication skills, independent, and trustworthy
- Leadership ability with ability to think out of the box
- Desire to also work with cows and calves to improve the herd. Knowledge of and working with calving, animal health, branding, and/or weaning is a plus.

- Have a willingness to jump in where needed, whether it is fixing fence, painting a building, setting on a tractor for several hours, or night watch on calving during a winter storm

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a solid trustworthy employee for a progressive farm in east-central Nebraska Farm. Need someone who is a team player and a hard worker. Long-term employment opportunities are available for the right person to expand land, cattle, or other side business. We apply most all our own fertilizer and herbicide requirements through the cropping season. The ability to assist in the seed business by working with seed warehouses, agronomy, deliveries, and even sales could and would be a strong asset. Preference giving to a young family that is social, takes pride in what they do, has good leadership ambition, and is part of the local community. Opportunities to work together and raise a family on the farm or one spouse could also find work locally if they so choose to. Not looking for a rookie by any means, but willing to work with someone that has some experience, and is looking to take on more responsibility and has a passion for rural living. Preference also giving to someone who may have a strong 4H or FFA background but doesn't have the opportunity to return to a family enterprise. It is a great location to raise a family on the edge of a thriving community and a choice of strong public and private schools. 3 bdrm / 1.5 bath house on the farm will be available late summer in time before school starts in August.
