QUALIFICATIONS:

- Prefer 3+ years related experience working with alfalfa hay farm operations
- Hay Production experience along with irrigation
- Pivot Irrigation experience, troubleshooting, and operation preferred
- Arc welding, fabrication, and repair is a plus
- Perform preventative maintenance as well as handle repair, which is all part of operations
- Honest, good decision maker, communicator, team player, and self-motivated/self-starter are all a must

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a Farm Assistant for a Nebraska hay producer. Prefer 3+ years of related experience working full time on a farm, and on some hay farms putting up hay, managing water, storage, etc. This person will work under the supervision and guidance of the owner to accomplish the day-to-day requirements of the operation. Additional responsibilities are possible for the right candidate as we have the opportunity to expand with the right team in place. Shop duties include assisting on repairs and maintenance as needed. The location is close to town, schools, essentials, including possible employment for spouse. E.O.E and wages will be determined by one's experience, stability, and references.
