QUALIFICATIONS:

- Looking for a self-starter with an interest in production agriculture; strength in mechanics & maintenance preferred
- Experience in Agronomy, irrigation, mechanics, or precision would also be a plus
- Having a CDL not required, but a good driving record with the ability to drive a tractor trailer preferred
- Excellent communication skills and ability to see the big picture and take initiative to do the job without being told
- Work with additional employees as a team in a safe and productive manner while displaying honesty and integrity

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a strong Farm Assistant for a Missouri employer. This employer is looking for an applicant with Ag experience who is to jump in and assist wherever and when needed. The main focus will be on row crop, and the farming side. Nice, heated shop for seasonal maintenance and equipment repairs. Employer does due to double crop soybeans following wheat, so the month of June becomes a very busy time. One needs to be willing to assist in other areas as needed. They do run 120 pairs and also put up Bermuda Grass hay, but the main focus will be on the Corn, Wheat, Soybeans and maintenance of equipment. This position is not just a job, but also a career for the long-term person that understands agriculture and has a passion for farming and wanting to grow & learn in all aspects of the farm operation. The equipment is mostly all JD equipment ranging from 5 to 10 years old and well maintained. Wages are paid hourly and will range from 2500 to 3000 hours per year. Wages will be based upon experience but also include good benefits that include a 2-bedroom house for either single, couple or 1-2 kids. Willing to look into other accommodations if one has a larger family. Location is close to a town with a strong school district with bus service. Great location for spouse to find work if looking.
