- Planting through harvest experience preferred
- Prefer a Class A CDL or at least have good experience driving tractor/trailer
- Welding, mechanical ability, pivot irrigation experience preferred
- Experience with late model farm equipment
- Assist with cow/calf herd at times
- Must be a team player

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Farm Assistant for this Kansas producer. Looking for a highly motivated, honest, reliable and diversified individual with good crop production background. Person who is strong and more interested in crop production would be fine, but would like to find person who is diversified, who's willing and able to help in all areas of the operation. Duties to include operating row-crop equipment for fertilizing, planting, cultivating and harvesting crops. Person should be able to observe and listen to machine operation to detect malfunctions and then repair and maintain farm vehicles and implements as needed. This person will assist with hay feeding in winter. Truck driving experience preferred and prefer some welding skills. Must be able to work independently and with others, being able to communicate and convey important job information. Good opportunity for the right person!
