Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is seeking a Facility Manager for an Ag production facility located in Southern Kentucky. This Manager will oversee all operations at the facility, ensuring efficient plant and field operations while maintaining strong relationships with growers. This role is responsible for leading a high-performing team, managing both plant and field operations through direct reports, and driving overall location success. This facility is a well-established, stable operation with low turnover and a strong team already in place. The ideal candidate will bring a balance of agronomy knowledge, operational leadership, and relationship-building skills.

Job Description

The Facility Manager will be responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the facility, working closely with both plant and field operations teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and oversight for two direct reports:
  • Plant Operations Manager
  • Field Operations Manager
• Build and maintain strong relationships with local growers and customers
• Ensure efficient coordination between plant and field operations
• Support and develop team members while maintaining a positive, productive work environment
• Collaborate with Regional Management on operational goals and performance
• Maintain operational consistency in a process-driven environment

Job Qualifications

Required:

• Experience working directly with growers (strongly preferred)
• Solid agronomy knowledge
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships
• Strong leadership and communication (soft) skills
• Understanding of Ag production operations (processing, treatment, or related)
• Ability to manage both operations and people effectively

Preferred:

• Background in agronomy or ag-related operations
• Experience in both operations and sales/relationship management
• Military background or similar process-driven experience (a plus)
• Familiarity with managing teams in both field and facility environments
• Local/regional ties to the area (preferred but not required)

Compensation & Benefits

• Salary Range: $75,000 - $95,000
