JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a Dairy Equipment Service company who is searching for two Service & Installation Technician to work with robotic and conventional dairy equipment. One position will be located in Western New York, and the second position located in North Central New York. This position utilizes your skills to install and service all equipment sold by this employer, which includes robotics and automation. Processes involved to accomplish the objective:

• Serve existing accounts by planning equipment, parts, and time requirements
• Investigate complaints, conducting tests, and ultimately resolve problems
• Maintain a rapport with customers by identifying their needs, suggesting improvements, and implementing installation and/or repairs of equipment after approval of the service or installation manager
• Keep equipment operating correctly by following appropriate instruction manuals, service regimes and safety precautions
• Plan and communicate equipment and parts needs for various installation and/or repairs
• Document time and parts sales efficiently, accurately, and timely so that billing and inventory replacement are completed in a prompt fashion
• Maintain levels of training and actively remain proficient in your skill set
• Plan your daily schedule to minimize travel and maximize productive time
• Submit paperwork for billing daily
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently
• Be willing to participate in the emergency call rotation
