Crop Production Manager - MONTANA RANCH
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a dependable Crop Production Manager for a large ranch operation located in Montana. This is a long-term opportunity for a person who enjoys production agriculture, takes pride in equipment and crop work, and is willing to assist where needed around a diversified ranch operation.

This position is focused primarily on the crop and forage production side of the operation including alfalfa, triticale, corn, hay, and small grain production, although assistance with livestock operations will occasionally be needed.

Primary responsibilities include operating and maintaining farm equipment, hay production, irrigation work, planting, harvesting, fertilizer and chemical application coordination, equipment maintenance and repair, and general ranch support. This individual will also assist with monitoring crop conditions, maintaining production records, and helping improve efficiency within the farming operation.

The employer is searching for a person with a solid production agriculture background who is mechanically inclined, dependable, self-motivated, and able to work well both independently and as part of a team. Experience with hay production, irrigation systems, GPS guidance technology, precision agriculture practices, and modern farm equipment is strongly preferred. Experience with pivot irrigation, flood irrigation, John Deere equipment, baling equipment, and forage production would all be beneficial.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Production agriculture and/or ranch background preferred
• Strong equipment operating experience
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to assist with equipment maintenance
• Hay production and irrigation experience preferred
• Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
• Willingness to assist in both crop and livestock operations
• CDL helpful but not required

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
• Income is $75,000+/- depending on experience
