QUALIFICATIONS:

- Good horsemanship, rope, and spending time in the saddle on a large open range on a daily basis
- 2-3 years current experience preferred, but will train and work with the right person with solid horse & roping skills
- Team player, strong communication skills, and positive attitude
- Willing to assist in all areas of yearling production around the summer ranch and winter feedlot
- Good animal health experience from backgrounding to yearlings is required, as will follow from summer pastures to winter feedlot.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri Placement is assisting a Wyoming employer looking for a good Ranch Hand / Cowboy who knows cattle, backgrounding, and working with yearlings. This individual needs to be willing to jump in and assist in all areas around the ranch, from driving "T" posts to moving cattle over open range or hauling by truck as needed. This person will assist with the day-to-day needs outlined by the Ranch Manager or Ranch Foreman. A person needs to be a self-starter and a team player with good communication skills. The location is rural, and summer pastures are about three hours away from winter feedlot. They are looking for someone who takes pride in what they do. A great working environment with long-term opportunities available as the ranch is looking at expansion possibilities and continues to grow. Benefits on the job are better than most, and a person's pay will be evaluated by performance. They want good people who will grow with them and continue to strive to build the ranch and strengthen the team. Housing is furnished and can range from house to bunkhouse, depending on your needs, from summer to winter.
