QUALIFICATIONS:

- 3+ years of CFO experience in working in production agriculture with strong accounting & auditing experience preferred of farm and feedlot records
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and multiple accounting software packages
- Superior communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong initiative, accountability, and supervisory skills, independence, time management are needed
- Knowledge of cattle feeding and farming is a must, and the trucking industry a plus.
- Analyzing farm data and working with farm programs would be a plus

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT seeks a Chief Financial Officer responsible for all daily financial management or multiple agriculture production enterprises. This individual will also have primary oversight for the collection & management of all farm data, accounting, farm programs, planning, and budgeting of a farming and feedlot operation in Nebraska. It will also consist of additional LLCs in the trucking and cattle marketing groups. A successful candidate will have proven analytical skills, use creative thinking in decision-making and problem-solving, and can analyze and interpret industry information with solid communication skills in working with the owner.
