- Operating feed-truck, loader, hauling manure, etc.
- Handle routine maintenance and general repairs

- Prefer experience driving semi truck for local hauling

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for a good Feedlot/Farm Assistant to assist on a cattle feeding and farming operation in Nebraska. Main focus is working in companies’ private cattle feeding operation. Duties will include running feed-truck, manure hauling and silage chopping and packing, etc. Prefer good feedlot experience feeding, spotting sick cattle, pulling and doctoring, sorting cattle, vaccinating and yard maintenance. Feedyard isn't large enough to keep person busy full-time, so person needs to be willing to assist in crop production when needed. Person needs to be dependable, have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter and willing to assist in all areas of the operation. Having a good attitude, who's flexible in their duties and who's hard working will go a long way in being considered. The more a person has to offer in experience and willingness to work throughout operation will increase chances of hiring, and opportunities of advancement in future.
