QUALIFICATIONS:

- Strong AI breeding experience
- Experience with Preg checking using Ultrasound a plus
- Experience with heat detection systems such as SCR
- Bilingual preferred, but not required
- Lute and GNRH shot experience
- CIDRS experience
- Basic Computer skills

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large dairy operation located in Ohio who is searching a qualified Breeding Manager. Responsibilities for this position include artificially inseminating, following individual breeding protocols, selection of semen to be use for insemination process, and paint and heat detect heifers daily. Will also give lute shots and GNRH shots daily per protocol and use CIDRS as needed. Will be required to enter daily documentation into Dairy Comp to ensure adequate documentation and records. Will give attention to detail when storing, transporting, and thawing of semen. Also responsible for performance of pregnancy checks using an ultrasound.
