JOB DESCRIPTION:

Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is representing a large calf operation in Nebraska who is searching for an Assistant Manager to help oversee the day-to-day operation. The employer is in need of someone who is strong with animal health and problem solving to make the calf ranch more successful and focus on improving calf health after weaning. This facility works with a Vet Service for veterinary care but would consider hiring a veterinarian to help manage the operation. The right candidate can help identify what calves are dealing with and make sure each calf is being properly diagnosed and treated. This position will be responsible for treatments and vaccinations, managing staff, and ensuring protocols are being followed and done on time. Must have problem solving skills and a desire to find the root cause of an issue. The right candidate, for this position, should enjoy training and coaching team members to their fullest potential. Must have a strong work ethic and be willing to lead by example, while working alongside their team.
