QUALIFICATIONS:
- BSc. Agronomy degree preferred; years of experience will also be considered
- Minimum 2 or more years consultative Agronomy experience preferred; Employer will consider New College Graduates with ties to Western Nebraska
- Working knowledge of Western Nebraska crops: corn, soybeans and wheat; sugar beets strongly preferred
- Customer-oriented with good communication skills
- Attentive to detail
- Computer proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook and other software applications
- Strong math and organizational skills
-Preference for Agronomist currently residing in/working from Western Nebraska or looking to return to this area

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting a Long-Established Ag Retailer needing an Agronomist for one of their Western Nebraska locations. Ideal individual will have ties to the area and solid agronomic experience including working knowledge of crops grown in Western Nebraska. Primary responsibilities to include:
- Working closely with area growers to survey soil and crops
- Providing agronomic recommendations to customers
- Helping area growers to increase their productivity to maximize their return on investment
- Being a proactive Agronomy Team Member
