- Successfully navigate agricultural lending requirements and financial reporting obligations specific to each business segment.
Strategic Partnership
- Collaborate with ownership and operational leaders across all three entities to support strategic planning, capital allocation, and risk management decisions.

- Work hands-on with our existing bookkeeping team (office manager and part-time assistant) while potentially adding one more assistant from the ranch operation.
- Perform direct bookkeeping functions as needed, particularly for the Ranch operations where current coverage is limited.
- Design and implement improved accounting workflows, especially for the Ranch, to create a sustainable system that efficiently supports all three agricultural entities.
- Modernize financial systems within first 12-18 months, including potential implementation of agriculture-specific ERP solutions to replace our current QuickBooks Enterprise environment.
- Manage relationships with external CPAs, auditors, agricultural lenders, and regulatory entities across all three business segments.
- Develop streamlined reporting tools that connect operational data (field production, livestock performance, grain inventory) with financial outcomes.
