JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-Secondary Education preferred but not required
- Experienced at appraising Used Equipment for profitable purposes
- Ability to research and analyze recent Used Equipment Sales and develop business plans
- Ability to create systems to evaluate needs for used equipment of customers and align used equipment inventory for customer retention beneficial
- Excellent communication skill set
- Proficient with computer applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is assisting an established Indiana Ag Equipment Dealership seeking an experienced Equipment Appraiser. This Appraiser can come from the Ag Equipment industry or the Construction/Heavy Equipment industry.

The primary responsibility of this Appraiser will be to formulate unbiased valuations based on an estimate of real property value that reflects all pertinent market evidence for Used Ag Equipment for this multi-site Ag Equipment dealership.

The ideal applicant will have equipment appraisal experience, solid analytical skills, some knowledge/understanding of the Ag industry, and the ability to formulate Used Equipment business plans for the dealership.

Key responsibilities to include:
- Developing/Executing a Used Equipment evaluation process to achieve standardization in equipment values, sale price and sales team efficiencies
- Developing/Executing equipment turns / lifecycle management processes to reduce aging inventory and to maximize cashflow
- Developing/Executing/Communicating used inventory plans that successfully allocate inventory resources to maximize inventory turn ratios on equipment
- Effectively Monitoring/Communicating plans to identify aged inventory

This Appraiser will report directly to the Director of Used Equipment.
