Centered around our rare and cherished Awassi sheep, our first production cycle will deliver wool for insulation, milk for cream cheese, and lamb for premium sandwiches served at a new concept gas station in Texas catering to electric vehicle customers.

We are seeking a dependable, hardworking individual looking to grow their career in integrated animal and crop production. This is a growing opportunity to learn advanced pasture management, livestock care, and agribusiness operations taking responsibility for daily farm operations.

Qualifications:

• High integrity and reliability; entrusted with independent decision-making on site
• Physically resilient; capable of outdoor labor in all weather
• Attentive to detail, cleanliness, and organization
• Familiarity with pasture rotation, livestock care, and farm tools
• Self-driven and able to work independently
• Caring and proactive mindset
• Comfortable with repair work, animal care, and farm tasks
• Appreciation for regenerative agriculture and nature

Compensation & Benefits:

• $20 per hour
• Full time, year round
• Paid leave

Daily Tasks:

• Rotational grazing of sheep
• Water management and emergency response
• Fecal monitoring and parasite control
• Feeding chickens and sheep, egg collection
• Vegetable garden maintenance

Weekly Tasks:

• Weed and pasture management
• Fence and machinery maintenance
• Compost, trash, and fly control
• Inventory management and shipments to Texas
• Barn organization and equipment refueling

Monthly Tasks:

• Sheep hoof care, body checks, and parasite testing
• Vegetable planting, pasture reseeding, landscaping
• Coop and barn cleaning, feed silo loading

Bi-Yearly Tasks:

• Lambing and weaning prep
• Wildflower planting, wood chopping, bush hogging
• Path, pond, and property upkeep
• Sheep shearing, herd culling, genetic and semen testing
• Major infrastructure maintenance
