Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fabrication Technician/Manager to join our team. This role is based on a farm and involves working directly with farm machinery. The position requires fabricating metal components using techniques such as welding, drilling, and grinding. While prior fabrication or welding experience is preferred, we are open to training candidates who demonstrate a strong work ethic and align with our core values of Overachiever, Intrapreneur, and Accountability. All candidates must pass a drug screening.
Key Responsibilities
- Fabricate metal items using a variety of techniques, including welding, drilling, and grinding.
- Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Troubleshoot fabrication or equipment issues.
- Diagnose and perform basic repairs to farm machinery to maintain operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless workflow.
- Adhere strictly to OSHA safety guidelines and maintain a safe working environment.
Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Proven experience in fabrication or welding.
- Certification as a Fabricator (preferred but not required).
- Forklift certification.
- Ability to operate heavy machinery proficiently.
- Excellent hand-eye coordination, dexterity, and organizational skills.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
- Good physical condition: ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Excellent eyesight and color vision to perform detailed tasks.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
