Great Heart Seed, a privately owned, independent seed company located in Paris, IL is looking for a Sales Representative to work to implement the growth and Market Share of our product.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality customer service and build strong customer relationships
• Seek, contact, and negotiate with potential customers
• Deliver effective sales presentations, attend

and participate in trade shows, company meetings as required

• Develop and maintain a thorough agronomic and technical knowledge of Great Heart Seed products and services
• Develop and enhance relationships with customers and potential customers
• Maintain appropriate contact with current customers and potential customers
• Assist Customers with proper seed selection by analyzing growing conditions and region
• Conduct oneself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct

Skills

• Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Have demonstrated knowledge of proven sales techniques, as well as excellent negotiating skills and the ability to overcome obstacles
• Have demonstrated initiative and the ability to work with minimum supervision to meet established goals
• Ability to rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals
• Have three or more years of sales experience
• Knowledge of agriculture
• Great attitude
