Principal Accountabilities
Serve as champion for food safety
Conduct pre-operational inspections and collaborate with USDA personnel to ensure regulatory readiness
Perform routine product monitoring, including fat analysis, shear testing, temperature verification, and moisture checks
Execute cook attribute evaluations and conduct sensory assessments to verify product quality
Administer and document test and hold procedures, and release procedures in alignment with FSQR protocols
Ensure strict adherence to GMPs, good housekeeping practices, and plant policies by all stakeholders
Accurately enter, track, and mantain quality data within digital systems
Perform basic preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and calibration on FSQR laboratory and testing equipment
Apply strong decision making and problem-solving skills to resolve quality concerns and escalate issues when necessary
Utilize Microsoft Office and related technology to analyze, report, and communicate quality findings
Maintain mobility throughout the facility, includint standing, walking, and performing testing for extended periods
Lift and carry up to 60 lbs of product, or boxes with or without reasonable accommodation
Willing to train team members on FSQR procedures and methodologies
Required Qualifications
Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to understand, speak, read and write English
Preferred Qualifications
2 years experience in manufacturing environment (70 for scoring weight)
Previous food safety or quality experience (30 for scoring weight)
