Hoffmaster is looking for a product development intern to support our R&D team in the summer of 2025. This is an onsite paid internship primarily based in Clintonville, WI. There may be opportunities for local travel to other Wisconsin sites (Oshkosh and Oconto).

Responsibilities

• Support the technical development and optimization of Hoffmaster products
• Attend trials to support sustainable product commercialization
• R&D project lab testing and analyses
• Support the optimization of raw materials and converted products
• Investigate product performance as a function of materials and process variables
• Document and communicate technical findings and learnings to the innovation team
• Assist in sustainable product initiatives

Qualifications

• Technical education and/or equivalent work experience in the fields of paper engineering/science, chemical engineering, chemistry, material engineering/science, etc.
• Pay is determined by level of experience and education
• Interpersonal and written communication skills
• Analytical problem solving and investigative mindset
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Ability to perform both collaborative and independent work
• Familiarity with Microsoft computer applications

• Full time employment- Internships and projects are designed to last 10 weeks over the summer.  Hours will be Monday – Friday 8 am – 4:30 pm and pay starts at $20 / hour.
