This intern will work under immediate supervision and perform requested tasks alongside professionals who perform these roles. This internship offers hands-on experience working directly with the Precision AG Specialist on acreage processing and provides an opportunity to complete a comparison of precision agriculture in the market.

  • Learn farm management software processes
  • Gain experience with marketing comparison strategies
  • Gain hands-on experience with processing acres
  • Engage with various team members, contribute to impactful projects, and build an understanding of the team’s dynamics in a collaborative team setting

 
Basic Qualifications:

 

  • Actively pursuing a bachelors degree 
  • Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university degree program in the fall semester following the internship
  • Must be a rising junior or rising senior at the time of the internship
  • Must be eligible to work in the U.S.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

 

  • Minimum cumulative current grade point average of 3.0 (current could mean last semester GPA) 
  • Basic knowledge of precision agriculture concepts and technologies.
  • Familiarity with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment
  • Experience in a leadership role
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • Strong interest in the insurance industry

The compensation indicated represents a nationwide market range and has not been adjusted for geographic differentials pertaining to the location where the position may be filled. The proposed hourly rate for this position is $21.00 - $25.00.
