As an Internal Account Manager, you play a key role in strengthening our customer portfolio and building sustainable partnerships. The challenge

  • As an Internal Account Manager you are responsible for your own customer portfolio. Within this customer portfolio you advise on and sell the products and services of Agrifirm.  

 

Your responsibilities:

  • You maintain customer contact and sell our products, services and advice within your customer portfolio;
  • Drawing up a commercial plan and/or account plans for your own customer portfolio and guiding customers further as services are expanded;
  • You act as a sparring partner for colleagues and customers and develop and maintain relationships with (potential) customers, network organizations and chain parties;
  • Accepting, registering, handling and, if necessary, involving other internal parties and maintaining insight into the progress of handling customer complaints and problems within your own customer portfolio;
  • Drafting, negotiating, managing and ensuring correct execution of quotations and contracts;
  • Identifying, creating and exploiting business opportunities, translating and substantiating these into the development of new products/concepts or services with colleagues;
  • Devising, setting up and independently executing commercial campaigns around (new) products/services;
  • Identifying improvements in processes.

 

You will work in the customer team of a region in the Netherlands and report to the Cattle Sales Manager.

 

What's on your resume?

You know the business like no other and the following criteria are at least on your resume:

  • HBO work and thinking level;
  • Preferably you have several years of experience in account management or customer service;
  • You have specialist knowledge of our products and processes;
  • Experience with automated systems (SAP, Excel, Word) is a plus.

You are a good listener and know how to quickly get to the heart of the matter by asking the right questions. You combine a high degree of customer focus with an enormous commercial drive, furthermore you are:

  • Proactive and able to independently manage a customer portfolio;
  • Able to maintain an overview in complex issues and hectic situations;
  • You are a networker and enjoy acquiring new knowledge about the market and our products and services.

 

Our offer

A challenging position (32-40 hours) in an enthusiastic and committed team where cooperation and results are central. Your location is an Agrifirm office location in your region. The option to work from home 1 to 2 days a week is possible.

 

Furthermore, Agrifirm offers:

  • Salary € 3763,- / € 7051,- (depending on education and work experience);
  • Bonus scheme
  • Approximately 36 days off (approx. 23 vacation days & 13 ATV based on full-time);
  • Good secondary employment conditions such as a 2.5% end-of-year bonus, health check and results bonus;
