As a successful Intern, you will assist food & beverage during our summer week-long events at the Ripken Experience in Pigeon Forge, TN. 

This is a paid Internship, AND you will have the ability to earn college credit!

Responsibilities:

• Work directly under the F&B manager, assisting with food prep, guest service, and cleaning
• Work with a flat-top grill, oven, fryers, steamer and stovetop
• Execute basic cleaning duties which include but are not limited to, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and stocking
• Assist concessions staff as needed, including working as a cashier, cook and runner
• Always convey and maintain a high level of professionalism while providing extraordinary and fun external and internal customer service  
• Represent the Ripken name and brand in a professional manner at all times  
• Work with staff across the complex to achieve objectives effectively and efficiently while providing a once-in-a-lifetime experience for guests

Qualifications:

• Recent graduate, or currently working towards a bachelor's degree Outgoing and friendly personality, strong initiative, and high-energy   
• Excellent communication skills  
• Strong detail-orientation, with ability to problem-solve   
• Ability to multi-task, efficient time-management skills  
• Ability to work during the day or evening as determined by supervisor
• Positive and effective leadership and customer service skills  
• Ability to work in a team environment with a strong work ethic and positive team attitude  
• Reliable transportation
