Job Description

Primary objective for the Agronomy Operations Internship will be to have hands-on experience in agronomic services and crop input operations. This internship will provide exposure to plant nutrition, crop protection products and seed. The internship will assist agronomy staff with daily operations, product handling, and customer service.

Role and Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, mixing and delivering fertilizer and crop protection products.
• Support agronomy staff in preparing, loading, and dispatching custom application equipment.
• Help with inventory control, product organization, and facility maintenance.
• Learn to operate the different equipment systems used in the Agronomy field.
• Participate in demonstration plots as directed.
• Interact professionally with customers and team members.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Must be currently enrolled in an Agronomy, Crop Science, Agribusiness or related program.
• Strong interest in agronomy, crop production and agricultural retail.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn equipment operation.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, outdoor environment and lift up to 50lbs.
• Excellent time management and customer service skills.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
• Valid Drivers License
