About the Role: As Systems Architect, you will design, implement, and manage complex multi-tiered architecture and enterprise applications that align with organizational goals. You'll analyze user needs, create system architecture plans, select appropriate technologies, and collaborate across IS teams to ensure systems are scalable, secure, and efficient. This role is hands-on, leading setup and migration of cloud-based and on-premises environments to ensure seamless transitions with minimal downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Vision: Design and implement enterprise architecture that aligns with organizational goals; analyze user needs and recommend scalable, secure, and efficient solutions.
- System Design & Implementation: Configure, deploy, and integrate hardware, software, networks, and databases; build automation scripts and integrations; maintain architectural documentation; ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- System Support: Maintain existing solutions, troubleshoot escalated issues, manage configurations, and coordinate with IS teams to resolve problems across internal, cloud, and third-party systems.
- Security, Backup & Recovery: Design and enforce security policies, monitor vulnerabilities, and develop disaster recovery plans to ensure data and application availability.
- Technology Research: Evaluate emerging platforms, tools, and methodologies; prototype cloud solutions; stay current with technology trends to continuously improve operations.

What You Need
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Experience: 5+ years in enterprise technical systems design, administration, and implementation
Technical Strengths & Skills:
- Expertise and leadership in system design (cloud, on-premises, hybrid) and proficiency in multiple programing languages: .NET, Java, Python, C++)
- Strong understanding of SDLC, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, ITIL/ITSM, governance, SaaS/PaaS/IaaS, databases, and security principles.
- Demonstrated success in structured project delivery, spring cycles, timeboxed work, metrics-driven tracking, and cross-team coordination to establish dependencies and milestone are met
- Excellent leadership, communication and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex to convey complex systems to diverse audiences
- Proven ability to set standards, foster collaboration, and drive accountability with transparent progress tracking
- Commitment to confidentiality, security, and integrity of organizational and client data

Candidates must reside in our Loan Service Area (Missouri).
Preferred office location is Jefferson City, MO. All other FCS Financial Branch Locations will be considered in our Loan Servicing Area.
This position is classified as Exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act.
Hybrid work environment and flexible work schedule will be considered based off of the candidates' qualifications and needs.

Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field
- 5 years' experience in enterprise technical systems design, administration and implementation
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job
Required Knowledge and Skills
- Expert knowledge in designing complex systems, including cloud-based (Azure), on premises, and hybrid environments
- Expert knowledge of multiple programming languages (like .NET, Java, Python, C++) and a strong understanding of the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
- Expert knowledge of emerging technologies
- Expert knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines
- Expert knowledge of DevOps practices and ITIL/ITSM concepts
- Expert knowledge of creation and maintaining comprehensive technical documentation
- Working knowledge of monitoring, troubleshooting, implementation and supporting SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS services
- Working knowledge of relational databases and operating systems
- Working knowledge of security principles and encryption
- Skill in establishing and utilizing testing environments and plans to ensure applications perform as designed
- Skill in listening and conveying awareness of a customer's problem or issue to find a resolution
- Oral and written communication skills are sufficient to discuss a variety of job-related topics and to effectively communicate complex systems to a variety of audiences
- Skill in analyzing complex technical data by using logic and quantitative reasoning
- Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work promptly
