About Us

Axis Solar is a leader in Ontario's renewable energy sector, focused on delivering high-performance commercial solar energy systems. We specialize in DC oversizing, system removal and replacement, and new build installations. With a growing portfolio and ambitious goals, we're looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as a Sales Representative / Customer Relationship Manager / Estimator. This role is essential to identifying new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and supporting project estimating for our commercial solar construction projects.

 

Position Overview

This hybrid role is perfect for someone with a blend of sales, customer service, and estimating experience. You'll help drive business development efforts, manage client communications, and prepare accurate estimates for commercial solar construction projects. You will play a critical role in supporting the growth of our project pipeline and ensuring successful client engagement from initial contact through to contract signing.

 

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development:

  • Identify and pursue commercial opportunities aligned with Axis Solar’s construction capabilities.
  • Conduct site visits, attend industry events, and network with potential clients.
  • Prepare and deliver proposals, RFPs, and presentations to prospective customers.

 

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Maintain regular communication with new and existing clients.
  • Provide excellent customer service throughout the sales cycle.
  • Follow up on leads, proposals, and outstanding opportunities.

 

Estimating Support:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for removal/replacement projects, DC oversizing, and new build solar installations.
  • Collaborate with internal teams including engineering, procurement, and field services to refine scopes and pricing.
  • Track project costs, timelines, and proposal metrics to improve accuracy over time.

 

Collaboration & Internal Coordination:

  • Support internal forecasting and pipeline planning by keeping CRM and reporting tools updated.
  • Coordinate with suppliers, subcontractors, and partners to secure quotes and maintain competitive pricing.

 

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in solar, electrical, construction, or related industries.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in sales, client relationship management, or estimating.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools and estimating software.
  • Self-starter who is detail-oriented and highly organized.
